Admit it, Bajaj Avenger is not the first name when someone talks about Bobbers! Well, Avenger did a decent marketing in India and been popular among young cruise fans, but then again, it’s not probably not the first preference, a bike builder would toil a lot, except Jay D. Patel from J&D Custom Co, who parhaps, has a diverse way of chosing his donor bikes.. remember he earlier converted a Bajaj Pulsar into a Bobber and did it pretty awesome!
Jay D. Patel, former of the workshop shared with 350CC.com : “As we got our first order & this time we got A Bajaj Avenger to work with. Our clients need was simple yet attractive as creative and comfortable in ride. He also wants J&D Custom Co. to do their some kind extra ordinary & one of its kind craftmanship on the bike. And we did it. We think now its one of its kind Bajaj Avenger in India.
The bike have engraved stainless steel petrol tank. we decide to go with stainless steel finish this time instead of doing paintjob. We have engraved the tank with some beautiful designs. Its cap is made from brass and its also engraved with sailor symbol. We also stick our J&D Custom Co. logo on the tank, which are fonts made from brass. We made a diamond shape pure leather seat to give a rich look to this bike. We also changed spoked rims with alloy wheels. It have Brass grill headlight, stop engraved tail light. We hided some of wirings in the leather bag as avenger have lots of wiring in it. We stretched out frame littlebit to give it complete Bobber Look. Exhaust pipe have slip on muffler in it. It has ape hanger handlebars.
