There is a lot of love out there for the  term “old school”, yes those true-bred extensive styled bobber motorcycles are still the heartthrob of any motorcycle enthusiast. Well, grab some old-school charm, a serious blend of class and some antique styling in our today’s post. A Royal Enfield Thunderbird by Royal Mechanics, which was build last year and showcased in Royal Enfield Rider Mania 2015. It was in top 15 in the customized bike category.<\/p>\n

The bike was restored by Royal Mechanics<\/strong> in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Talking on the build and themselves, Dnyandutt. A . Barad from Royal Mechanics, shared few words with us, “We<\/strong><\/em> build our bikes under the brand name of Old School Customs<\/strong>. We believe in building practical bikes. The bike aesthetically pleasing yet packs a punch. Our aim is not to alter the chassis and keeping the bikes road legal. Having said that we have made bikes in which we had to alter the chassis. But that was customer’s demand.<\/p>\n

Outlaw was our very first custom bike and we at Old School Customs believe the bike should be an extension of you. Hence we involve the client at every stage. Outlaw is based on Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 cc, <\/strong>2012 model. It sports a custom peanut shaped tank<\/strong>. 110 x 90 x 19 tyre<\/strong> in the front and 140 x 80 x 17 tyre at the rear<\/strong>. It has custom alloy wheels<\/strong>. The tank is air brushed<\/strong>. Custom Indicators<\/strong> which includes parking lights<\/strong> and brake lights<\/strong>. We had two different custom handle bars<\/strong> for the bike. One which is pretty sporty and funky. The other traditional long tourer handle bar.<\/strong>
\nWe have also upgraded the Clutch plates<\/strong> from 6 to 7 for enhanced pick up and upgraded from regular spark plugs<\/strong> to iradium<\/strong> ones to reduce the misfiring at higher revolutions. Also synthetic oil has been used for better performance.<\/p>\n
