Miami-based motorcycle maker United Motorcycles Global aka UM Global soon to lunch number of bikes starting from low range to grab their share in Indian market. They had showcased some of their models at the recently conducted Auto Expo 2014 in Delhi. The four motorcycles that were put on display at the Expo are– Duty, Sport and Commando (from Renegade Cruiser lineup) and the Xtreet (from Sports lineup).
The UM plans to sale bike here in lower premium segment , having engine displacement between 200-280cc. Following are the four models with which United Motorcycles would commence its Indian operations, in festive season this year:
- Renegade Commando (223 cc, single-cylinder)
- Renegade Commando Limited Edition (same specifications)
- Renegade Sport (223 cc)
- Renegade Sport (200 cc)
As per report UM Motorcycles would be priced between INR 75,000 to INR 1.50 Lacs. Lets see if those replica of Harley Iron 883 or a Customized Royal Enfield with tiny engine can win the heart of Indian road! One thing to add at the bottom, we couldn’t find good information about them over several web searchs, Google couldn’t help mcuh apart from their official link or even we couldn’t see a Wikipedia either, which we feel a bit strange!
