Powered by the 499cc single-cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled Twinspark engine and previously shown at the 2012 Auto Expo held in New Delhi, the all new Thunderbird 500 is on it’s way! The Royal Enfield Thunderbird, raised quite a storm among the entire biking community with its stylish and cool demeanor coupled with a never-ending list of features seen first time on a Royal Enfield motorcycle ever, has officially updated countdown clock in their website for the launch. So far we can see the launch should be placed within 4 days 13 ours and few minuets from now on, since I’m writing this. Moving ahead with the times sure seems to be the mantra for Royal Enfield, which has evidently managed to keep the balance of form and function on the new Thunderbird.
After quite a pretty long awaiting period with hell lot of confusion including the removal of the bird from their official website, Royal Enfield finally decided to put an dramatic arrival charm. You’ll love to watch the countdown clock in their website with flashed 500cc bird and the counting clock with option of sharing the page in various social networking sites. Here’s the link.
So, having faith on Royal Enfield makers, we can assure you that the 11th October is the date when the bird will be coming out from the caution. You can check the specification and price from our earlier post here.
The Thunderbird 500 has been perhaps one of the most anticipated offering from the Royal Enfield stable considering that the Thunderbird 350 has been doing yeoman service for the last ten years. The Thunderbird has built for itself a reputation of being a comfortable touring motorcycle and is often the first choice amongst the Royal Enfield models for touring enthusiasts.
The Thunderbird has earned itself the reputation of a capable highway tourer and established itself firmly in the cruiser market. The Thunderbird broke away from the mould of Royal Enfield’s traditional motorcycles and redefined a new lineup. In that direction, the new Thunderbird has come as fresh motorcycle.
