The latest bike from Deccan Custom Motorcycles from Hyderabad is one such bike entitled for an eminent existence, the bike named Rudra, a 500cc Royal Enfield Classic used as donor bike.
“Classically derived from the word ‘Rudhraksh‘, the Rudra is a refreshing new custom built version of the Bullet 500cc Classic, The whole concept or the idea behind this build was to reflect the devotion towards lord Shiva without actually using any of his graffiti as such. Staying in theme with the name, the colour used to accentuate the bike was ‘Nilkanth Blue’. Even the key to the ignition is creatively shaped to replicate the Trisul or the Trident- which is Lord Shiva’s Trident. Another eye-catcher is that when the bike roars to life, the pleasing rear fender lights up to read ‘#RUDRA’ which basically remains invisible when the bike is static, this was something which was not that easy, after few failed experiments we were able to make it happen .

All the parts of the bike excluding the engine had been played with,and the best part of it is that it is entirely handcrafted. Surely the beauty of constructing it while being mostly mechanical was more of an art.
