The bike is powered by 499cc Twinspark air cooled engine which can generate power up to 27.6 PS at 5250rpm and 41.3 Nm at 4000rpm torque. It also has a stylish look with an LED tail lamp. and a Projection Type Headlamp of H7 bulb.
The second generation of Thunderbird 500 will be available in three colors – Midnight Black, Matt Metallic Black and Arctic Winter Black. The vehicle also has features like daytime running lights, split seat and a blackened engine.

How sexy a bike looks depends largely on the shape, color and texture of the silencers. So to say I am absolutely disappointed with the pathetic looking silencers on thunderbird 500cc. Silencers are pretty cheap so why not go for a deadly one? My feedback is this: go for a steely three hole well sawed off at the mouth that should project aeast 10 inches out from the rear tyre.

Its only available in blak color, but in black one is pure black and other appers like blue in sunlight
The Crashbars for the new TB500 haven been released as yet.The Vehicle is awefully silent for a Enfield. Hope the company releases better silencer options sepcific for the TB500.
The Silence is due to Sound Pollution Control Norms as per MV ACT.
Hence manufacturer cant sell with revised Exhaust.
Thats the reason they sell it as Accessory -only for off road purpose.

i have booked thundrebird ,350 ,waiting period is 4 mths,the original silencer has boaring sound like herohonda splendor,iam planning to replace it from classic 350 will it work? pl suggest.
thunder bird is one of the awesome bike in india…….. but silencer is the big problem of it but that no problem to replace it and change another one………….i love royal enfield,,,,,,,,
