Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Transformed Into a Bold Cruiser by Neev Motorcycles
The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 has earned a reputation as a versatile and stylish mid-capacity motorcycle, making it a favourite among custom builders. While many riders enjoy its retro-standard character, some visionaries push the platform even further. One striking example is the Interceptor 650 cruiser conversion by Neev Motorcycles, a build that completely reimagines this classic roadster into a laid-back cruiser with head-turning presence.

From Retro Roadster to Cruiser Stance
Neev Motorcycles took on a challenging task: transform the Interceptor 650 from its original upright roadster configuration into a cruiser with a relaxed riding posture and distinctive cruiser aesthetics. To achieve this, the team redesigned nearly every non-engine component on the bike.
Instead of simply modifying parts, the workshop fabricated a new custom chassis that better suits the cruiser layout. This change fundamentally alters the bike’s geometry, giving it a longer, lower stance that’s characteristic of classic cruisers.

Unique Design Details and Inspiration
The build goes beyond structural changes. Every design decision reflects a thoughtful theme inspired by the body’s energy centres, known as chakras in Eastern philosophy. In particular, the **eighth chakra — the “Soul Star” — influenced the motorcycle’s name: Soul Star — and its artistic touches. Neev Motorcycles engraved all eight chakras onto the eight spokes of the custom CNC-machined 18-inch wheels, adding symbolic depth and visual flair.
To complement the cruiser redesign, the bike rides on wide tyres — 160/60 up front and a fat 240/40 at the rear — giving it a muscular road presence while maintaining stability and comfort.
Custom Parts and Finishes
Beyond the revamped chassis and wheels, Neev Motorcycles fabricated most of the bike’s bodywork and hardware:
- Custom fuel tank, front fork covers, fenders, and handlebar
- CNC-machined wide triple tree for a refined front end
- Brass-finished accents including the fuel cap, handle risers, grips, foot controls, tank badge, chain, and fender fittings
- A 2-in-1 exhaust system that exits on the right side, replacing the stock setup for a cleaner cruise look
- A bespoke seat and sump guard tailored to the cruiser aesthetic
- LED lighting integrated throughout for modern visibility
Every part reflects careful craftsmanship. In fact, the build’s level of custom fabrication is so extensive that the only major component carried over from the stock Interceptor 650 is the engine itself — and even the exhaust system has been reworked.

A Showpiece With Road Presence
Neev Motorcycles’ cruiser conversion of the Interceptor 650 is more than a cosmetic exercise. The Soul Star build demonstrates that even a well-loved factory motorcycle can be entirely reinterpreted with vision and skill. From its symbolic details to its cruiser-ready stance, this custom Interceptor 650 captures both artistry and functionality, and stands as one of Neev’s most ambitious projects to date.
