Custom Cafè Racer | Bobber | Scrambler | Modified Royal Enfield | India

Royal Enfield Electra turned into a neat Cafe Racer

We love custom bike builders. Let’s face it, without their creations we wouldn’t have much to feature on this site. We love the builders we had featured earlier in this small blog, Rajputana Customs to Rebel Customs. But beside that we also love the builders we hadn’t featured yet and so we  keep our searching on for them. The guys who are wet behind the ears. You probably didn’t see them in every bike blogs, bikers magazine, but let me tell you, there are many builders,  passionate as hell and you probably don’t know them well. They aren’t jaded by the industry. They probably don’t care what’s been done or what hasn’t been done. They don’t even care what shouldn’t be done. They haven’t probably read a million negative comments on motorcycle blogs. They just got bitten by the bike bug and they simply want to build sweet bikes. Their attitude is what bike building is all about.

In case you don’t know, we have a small fanpage in facebook what we get on the wall by fans post is when the Royal Enfield’s original  Cafe Racer concept, displayed in Auto Expo 2012, will  lunch in India? So, if you are about to crush Royal Enfield for not launching their Cafe Racer on time (since they have a regular habit of making delay in their new models), here we give you another reason for feeling jealous. I know you wouldn’t believe me easily if I say this is a Royal Enfield Electra’s standard 350cc model. Lets dig more into the story. The bike was built by a father, having a 30 years of Experience in Royal Enfield work, for his son, as a Birthday gift! “Boy, you’re lucky”, we say!

Net time a Helmet must before photosession right?

On a note, the maker of this perfect Cafe racer, Mr. Mustaq Gourh, mostly known as Raju bhai, siad to 350CC.com “I do all types of  works inculding small works, major works, making the whole bike with painting, buffing, fitting, chrome work, sordering and modifications the main”. Discussing on the Cafe Racer he said to us “the making of caferacer was a big plan, the work started from April  and ended on June (2012). The whole team has worked very hard on it as the work has to be  finished very soon (for the birthday), the cost for modifications had cost around 1,30000”  Fair enough! That’s a good price for what you get.

Talking on the bike, he shared to 350CC.com, “..The caferacer is a 1993 model standard 350. It’s gears and brakes are all taken behind for giving a sporty look and for the ease of the rider. It is single seater ….and it gives a very powerful firing. It’s front wheel is mac wheel and rear is spokes one! The tank can contain upto 20litres of petrol..the gear is on the left side like the original bullet..and has both front and rear disc brakes” The entire specification sounds pretty strong and comfortable for the rider as well.

This hard working experienced man definitely has the talent, the creativity and the technical skills to build a bike. We really wish those builders to grow up (in term of dealing with more clients) so that we can have more bikes soon in future by them. I, myself, wouldn’t really hesitate to get my bike to him, in case if I was looking for a Custom builder. You can reach to Raju Bhai by the contact below.
