True! Finding and featuring some excellent bikes from previously unknown builders is a real pleasure! The first one was the red Cafe Racer by Mustaq aka Raju Bhai of Mumbai, and the next one is the green racer! Well they call it cafe racer, generically I’m not sure. All I can say, she’s Classic!
Okey! The artistic Board track racer look alike build you see is a 1965’s standard Bullet. You’ll surprise to know the bike was never been featured in any other website so far even it was built almost 7 years ago, probably when the Care Racer concept in Indian bikes was not so rich. Rajubhai had customized the bike for himself giving a old flavor of ’32’s Bullet. While to talk about the beauty, they described to 350CC.com, all the parts were used to customized the bike, were built by him only! True talents of bike building in country are no less than so many so-called foreign based custom shop (where they can purchase almost everything from thousand online stores).
Now, do you see the Hand controlled gear? That’s what impressed us the most, It was all designed by the maker and the result was all successful. If you give a closer look, you may find almost everything were modified to build the bike, the frame to seat, the exhaust to the mudguards, the fuel tank to the rear tool box, all were hand made by the builder. It took almost 3 months to built and has became a true racer, the bike was once used for drag racing in Kharghar.
The man behind the bike is a 30 years of experienced Bullet freak, serving his skills on Royal Enfields in his garage in Dahisar. You may connect him if you want your Royal Enfield to get a different look or for any query.
