They say about Rajdoot..it as a gun-machine that would never stop running, the twoi stroke by Escorts Group, ruled the Indian motorcycle era of lete 70’s. Rajdoot sold about 1.6 million black “soviet” styled motorbikes, in the Excel T and Deluxe models, until it was phased out in 2005 . In the mean time various derivatives were produced with slight changes in cycle parts, suspension and transmission. The legendary and one of the most sucessful Indian bike continued for over four decades and resumed the production due to Euro II emission regulations…still you may get to see few glance of old retros running in town near you, with the amount of love and affection over the vintagte moto, number of them are in well shining condition. We get one of them with a modest restoration from Jedi Custom‘s garrage. A 1985 rajdoot customised into a vintage scrambler.
