Bajaj Pulsar 200 Cafe Racer by Adromeda Custom Motorcycles

Cafe Racer is a dope! Which has made riding a classic motorcycle an extremely stylish thing to do.  The trend in customizing cafe racer has helped improving the design since the day it was born. Along with the potent bike builders, Cafe Racer has became the most popular DIY for amateur bike enthusiasts. Furthermore, it’s a reasonably simple bike to ride and maintain, which inspires confidence in owners. And most importantly, a regular commuter bike can be used for the project. All you need some positive vibe, dynamic attitude and designing skill with basic mechanism- Your backyard garage could be the best workshop for your regular street bike, which you have bestowed for your Cafe Racer project – just like how Rathish Nair converted this 2009’s Pulsar 200 into a magnificent clean Cafe Racer.

It was the first custom bike from the team and we were excited to hear the story,“Adromeda Custom Motorcycles is what we call our weekend garage. We enjoy working on bobber, tracker & cafe racers because we love metal and modern classics. I am Rathish Nair and I am an automobile enthusiast and I am teamed up with my bro in law and a friend and none us are from automobile background and are corporate professionals during weekday. This motorcycle is completely built in mind to deliver a true blue Cafe racer to our Indian roads. Pulsar 200 from 2009 model was the perfect choice due to its classic chassis design and extended wheel base.

We rear quarter of the frames were chopped without compromising on the structural rigidity. Custom fuel tank with classic paint job. List continues to custom headlights, analog speedometer, under seat ignition keys for cool factor, custom seats with complimenting red stitches, upgraded front tyres and imported engine paints, hanging battery box, led turn and tail lights, conical filter and chopped free flow exhaust for a classic rumble note.

We face a lot of challenges building this motorcycle especially only working on weekends. This motorcycle took around 6 months to build with different trials but the quest to perfection was the only destination.”
