From Stock to Custom
Duff first rode the Continental GT 650 in its original form. However, he wanted a more refined look and feel. Therefore, he brought the bike to Pro Twin in Wangara, Australia. There, the transformation began with clear goals. First, the team aimed to improve performance. Second, they wanted to reduce visual bulk. Finally, they worked to create a more focused stance that matches the bike’s café racer heritage.
Importantly, Rogue Motorcycles handled the custom work. This Australian workshop is known for its minimalist approach and well-executed builds. Their work on this GT 650 highlights their ability to merge classic proportions with modern finishes.
Custom Highlights
One of the key changes was the shortened rear subframe. This adjustment helped balance the bike’s stance and clean up its overall profile. Next, a bespoke aluminium seat cowl was handcrafted to perfectly fit the new lines. The result is a smooth flow from front to rear that keeps the bike visually tight and purposeful.
Additionally, the build includes a custom black fairing that complements the bike’s refined look. Together, these elements sharpen the Continental GT 650’s silhouette while still honoring its retro roots.
