Kalka is a striking custom Royal Enfield Bullet 500 chopper built by Kunwar Customs. Named after the goddess Kali, the motorcycle immediately communicates a dark and aggressive personality. At the same time, it stays rooted in classic hardtail chopper culture. From the very first glance, its low-slung stance gives it the road presence of a much larger cruiser.

As a result, Kalka feels bold, imposing, and unapologetic.

Low-Slung Design with Vintage Chopper Influence

First of all, Kunwar Customs lowered the stance dramatically. Because of this, the motorcycle looks long, stretched, and commanding. At the same time, the proportions draw inspiration from classic American choppers and heavyweight cruisers.

At the front, a vintage-style rounded halogen headlamp refreshes the Bullet’s appearance. Directly behind it, springer front suspension strengthens the retro theme. In particular, this setup recalls iconic motorcycles from Norton and BSA.

Consequently, the front end feels old-school yet intentional.

Hardtail Frame and Oversized Wheel Setup

Next, the builder rebuilt the chassis from scratch and chose a hardtail frame. In other words, the motorcycle runs without rear suspension. Although this setup sacrifices comfort, it stays true to traditional chopper philosophy.

However, to counter this rigidity, Kunwar Customs added small springs beneath the rider seat. As a result, the rider gets minimal cushioning over uneven surfaces.

Meanwhile, the oversized wheels define the bike’s proportions. The motorcycle uses a 20-inch 280-section rear tyre and a 23-inch front tyre. Together, these tyres exaggerate the stretched silhouette and enhance the chopper stance.

Dark Dual-Tone Finish with Symbolic Meaning

In addition to its mechanical changes, Kalka stands out visually due to its paintwork. Kunwar Customs applied a dual-tone gloss black and matte black finish across the motorcycle.

More importantly, this colour scheme symbolises the fierce nature of goddess Kali. At the same time, the restrained palette avoids visual clutter. Therefore, the bike’s shape, stance, and metalwork remain the focal points.

Overall, the finish reinforces the chopper’s raw and menacing character.

Ape Handlebar and Refined Cockpit Details

Furthermore, an ape-style handlebar defines the rider cockpit. Because of its upswept design, the handlebar gives the motorcycle a wide and dominant stance.

In addition, the builder used switchgear from the previous-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350, including an engine kill switch. Finally, brass-engraved bar-end weights and levers complete the setup. These details introduce a handcrafted contrast against the dark bodywork.

As a result, the cockpit feels both aggressive and thoughtfully finished.

A Purpose-Built Royal Enfield Chopper

Ultimately, the Kalka Royal Enfield Bullet 500 chopper focuses on attitude rather than comfort or practicality. Instead of chasing versatility, it embraces classic chopper values such as bold proportions, vintage components, and minimal design.
