The scrambler motorcycle, in my opinion never become too cool like big cruisers, sportsbikes and or cafe racers. They don’t have that bad boy vibe to them, no super cool attitude like a Harley neither that sexy as speedy Superbikes. Scramblers usually focus on the best-value mods, balancing cost with performance. Your goal is a scrambler motorcycle that’s robust, easily repaired and built using materials that can proudly wear the scars of your adventures. Dochaki Designs from Pune tried their hands on making a off roader for a client…well…with a 110 CC TVS engine!!
Anupam Singh Parihar, the former of Dochaki Design shared his journey with 350CC.com : – “I am a mechanical engineer, then did my Masters in Automobile Design from MIT Institite of design, Pune. Then worked in a pune based automotive company for 3.5 years as a lead designer and worked on various new vehicles… but my love for bikes pushed me to quit my job a start a small shop in our outskirts of pune, from last one year we have been working and I am trying to undersand the complexity of building motorcycles by using my design and engineering knowledge.
We have just finished one of our build. So I thought we should share the images with you. Its based on TVS Star, yes its a small engine.. but its quick.. and we have added some HP from our side by some slight modification in engine.
We call it Unbreakable, because the client is a body builder and hi team’s name is unbreakable. Its a blend of Scrambler with cafe racer.
We have added some attributes of body building on the bike, like on tank u can see ribs which are similar to the 6pack abs, side profile is inspired by the arms and pushups position of body builders, we have added Girder forks for much muscular look like arms in front. Both the tyres has been beefed up, wide and straight handlebars. custom Paint job.. all graphics on the bike is all paint no stickers.
Its fun to ride.. and goes good on off road as well.”
