Spider, the amazing transformation of a Royal Enfield

Just a quick update, we thought those of you who enjoyed our previous articles might be keen to hear some news concerning the latest creation from one of our new amateur friend Neeraj Kapoor from Jaipur. Imagine being asked to build a custom bike for a SipderMan who is going to play a role in Ghost Rider! This is what I felt when I first saw this bike. The bike was built from a Donor Royal Enfield, FYI before you start checking them out.

How crazy these bike modifiers can be? People like Neeraj, who has been modifying this bike for many years and fabricates the alloy parts with his creative imagination.

I was in Dubai where I saw the chopper bikes, loved them but also felt just placing a broad expensive rear tyre with extra long front shockers, is not really designing. There has to be more to this. But placing a sculpture on the bike without planning the merging details may not also do justice to the fact that its a bike, that shud be motorable, yet not a laughing stock. So I created spider” Neeraj told to 350cc.com on a note.

Neeraj and his creation, Spider

Spider, which was carefully worked on where it came to every inch. Spider was intriguing, liked the bike black widow by orange county choppers, but felt something majorly was missing, live spiders…then there was no stopping me, kept creating….including all the lights which are human faces, I made them single handed.” It always amazes me what people can create in their amateur world. He was bit emotional, happens buddy, why don’t they keep STFU at those crazy motorcycle fans? He kept telling “..nobody understood my concept for a long time, no one cooperated in the build, friends ridiculed me at every step, family felt I’ve lost it, denters fleeced me n gave me bad results, but I hung in there for 5 years and completed the build spider

Artistic, in one word

The pun is that today I have the world supporting me, they come out ov their way to appreciate, people who termed me an idiot, call me Sir…” Victorious Neeraj, feels good for him.

What’s next? And if anyone wants to buy the Spider?

So now I plan to go for my best build ever, dinosaur, a bike which wud b made in a hundred pieces interlinked to each other, where each piece wud already have 50 pieces giving the skin a texture. I planned to keep the price ov spider at 11 lakhs, but I guess its a shock to the buyers, so my last offer wud b 7 lakhs. I have my name in brass on the bike I sell, no company whatsoever, mine r signature bikes which would not be in production, Iwud take order for only 3 bikes in a year, needless to say justice wud b done to the bikes and the buyers. The bikes of the customer can also be worked upon, his own theme can be conceptualized and designed. If the customers want me to offer the themes, he’ll have a variety offered. There was someone who wanned me to make ”zebra” for him….the working time and delivery would vary with the exclusivity and intricacy of the theme, if someone wants a harley made out of gold and silver with semi precious stones, there would b no negative answers from me.” Neeraj explained nicely, “you dream it…I work it out

  1. Amazing skill man! Not generically fitted into any motorcycle category, but hatts off to his creativity!! something extra ordinary!!!!

  2. awesome creativity, just an advise, if you build them just because you are one of among those crazy bike lover and add all your imaginations, but if you want to sale them, limit the budget. 🙂

  3. i wonder how difficult it is to build a bike without having a proper garage or mechanism tools! i envy USA/Canad based custom lovers, they can have almost everything get delivered on the door step from various online custom kit stores! but here in India this is really tough if you decide to build a custom bike for you. and then this guy has made something too different (LOL even if he was in USA, those online stores wouldn’t helped him much).
    Salute to this dude!
