The new engine can be seen in all its glory in the photograph, sporting its all-new, contemporary looking, matte black finished crankcase bearing the new Royal Enfield crest in its midst. In comparison, the old one felt a bit like a polished stone, fit for a museum.

  1. this is a great step by RE..proud of having a Indian product that is so strong dare to launch a scrambler in India…

  2. according to news this bike will have much lighter engine with quite big cc..should be a good offroader..but definately not a regular transport

  3. Like always…royal enfield will take years to launch this bike in market 🙁 egearly waiting to own a enfield scrambler

  4. I read somewhere max power would be 28-32 BHP which is not adequate for a Scrambler. Like Cafe Racer was a great show piece lookwise…but produced very low power in terms of speed up…cafe racer should be fast enough… lets see what this Himalayan does…but royal enfield himalayan looks pretty,,,if they are the real photo

  5. @Ramkumar Verma, yes you are right, this is definately not a BULLEt..which consuming all your motorcycle knowledge. sad to see, but it’s a request to a hell lot of BULLET fanboys to enhance their bike education and then comment. even you guys are poor in BULLET info too, Bullet was only a varient model of RE which indeed was most successsful and most admiring bike, but criticizing other bikes like KTM doesnt make you a erudite enough…KTM is one excellent piece of topnotch engineering..accept that and do respect. LAstly I don’t want to literate you what a SCRAMBLER is. thats too much for you 😀
