Royal Enfield 750 spotted testing

This is certainly great time span for Royal Enfield fans as the cult motorcycle brand is at their modest stage to make their entry to higher cc segment to rival big names like Harley Davidson, Triumph etc in a better price. After wise attempt of bring back cafe racer culture with Continental GT and then introducing one of the most appreciated adventure tourer Himalayan, Royal Enfield is all set to lunch their 750cc twin cylinder parallel engine. The prototype bike is yet to reveal though the engine was spotted testing in Spain with a continental GT frame.

The spotted bike looks nothing different that a Continental GT apart from having a bigger engine installed in it and it is expected the final production version will not carry much of the existing GT style. Royal Enfield Britain based technical center and its subsidiary Harris Performance are leading the development process.Royal-Enfield-Continental-GT-Frame-750

As per the picture the engine appears to be a parallel-twin unit. The displacement is estimated to be around 750 cc and we expect it to be paired with a 6-speed transmission. The most noticeable thing in the engine is they are using Carburetor instead of a fuel injection (EFI) which means in early stage of production they are targeting Indian market, which definitely the best news for Indian fans!

It is expected to lunch this bike in mid 2017 and price is expected to be 3-4.5 Lahs, in that case it would a decent deal for Indian current market scenario. Though no official confirmation announced yet from Royal Enfield like their all previous launched model, and it seems RE too much in love with this rumor based marketing strategy  for lunching new models, and significantly it never failed for them!Royal-Enfield-twin-cylinder-dual-exhaust-carbourator
