Modified Yamaha RX 100 Cafe Racer

Hitesh Rathi, a 18 years of guy from Haryana shared his Cafe Racer with us thanking the builder Monu Yamaha, “We modified this bike and the man who mainly did it is really a genius of 2 stroke motorcycles. He is struggling since long and i really want to help him shine.”

Talking on the bike he shared few words with us “ Café Racer is basically a lightweight, lightly powered motorcycle optimized for speed and handling and for quick rides over short distances and I think, that kind of quickness can’t be found in 4 stroke bikes nowadays. Moreover, this motorcycle already has a simple kind of framework perfect for a café racer and not much changes were needed to be done in the chassis. We cut the chassis to shorten the seat size. Both the tyres are converted from 18″ to 17″ to give it a low height. The tyres MRF Moto-D are perfect for our city’s road. The rear tyre is kept thicker to give it a bold look. An air filter for a more low pitch and sporty engine sound. This clubman café racer handlebar suits the motorcycle aesthetically as well as physically. A small led headlight to go with the small size of the bike. The exhaust pipe is also cut short. Battery cover/ टापे were removed to make it look more naked. Although the forks, suspension, footrest, brake levers, tank and rims are same to keep an original RX100 touch.”
